New Chapter – Job Vacancy
We are excited to announce that The Clothing Project is going to be stepping into a new chapter. It’s a little bittersweet as Amy Revell the founder is stepping down as the General Manager, but we are excited for the future and are on the look out for a new General Manager for The Clothing Project.
If you don’t know already, The Clothing Project started with an idea and has continued to grow over the eight years since it’s been operating. The Clothing Project started with three friends and built to currently a team of 30 volunteers and additional support when required. The board took the step to create the Paid General Manger role in 2019, as this was seen as required for the future and sustainability of The Clothing Project.
The General Manager role is the primary operational face of the organisation. As the General Manager, you are responsible for the day-to day operations and plays a major part in achieving The Clothing Project purpose and vision across the Eastern Bay of Plenty. This role can be based in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, however you will be required to be at our sorting facility, based in Edgeumbe 1 rostered day a week.
